Claire Ruckert

RCS / SHARE PhD Student (Music / Psychology)

Claire Ruckert holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Vocal Studies. Following undergraduate studies, she went on to complete a Master of Science in Performance Science from the Royal College of Music and a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of St Andrews. She is currently completing a PhD based at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and accredited by the University of St Andrews under the supervision of Dr Rachel Drury and Dr Ines Jentzsch. Her research is in interventions in applied psychophysiology and how these can be implemented in a conservatoire environment to combat performance anxiety and improve mental resilience in musicians.

Claire is currently looking to work with likeminded individuals, and the chance to be involved in meaningful interdisciplinary collaboration which expands our experience and challenges our assumptions.
