Lewis Hou
Science Communicator / Musician / Founder of Science Ceilidh
Lewis Hou is founder and director of the Science Ceilidh, an independent intermediary organisation connecting communities, education, research and culture across Scotland. He consults on equitable community and cultural engagement both nationally and internationally. He was a UK Creative Community Fellow and awarded the Public Engagement Innovator Medal with the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Currently, Lewis convenes the Culture & Wellbeing Community Network Scotland and supports funding for groups in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland to lead public engagement and community-based research around mental wellbeing and climate change with the British Science Association.
