Mhairi Stewart

Dr Mhairi Stewart is Public Engagement Manager and acting Head of School for the Berlin School of Public Engagement and Open Science. Her work focuses on International Science Communication and Public Engagement delivery, policy, strategic development and research, bringing the public, academia, industry and policy makers into productive dialogues for mutual benefit. She undertakes interdisciplinary research on the boundaries of current engagement theory and practice, evidencing the value of engagement to institutions and research individuals as well as audiences. Mhairi is also a founding member of the Scottish Public Engagement Network, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, and a member of the RSE Young Academy of Scotland.
